If you're looking for beginner to intermediate piano lessons in or around Findon Valley, I offer relaxed and engaging face-to-face sessions from our home studio. Each half-hour lesson costs £21 and is tailored to help children or adult beginners build confidence and enjoy the learning process. I use the well-loved Piano Time books by Pauline Hall, and we make progress in a way that feels positive and pressure-free.
Lessons are fun and motivating, with plenty of encouragement along the way. I use stickers and cards to help keep learners inspired, and because we have two pianos, we can play duets together. This brings an extra level of energy and fun to the lessons. Whether your child is completely new to the piano or you're an adult picking it up for the first time, I’ll support you step by step.
I love helping people feel at ease and move forward with music. I also create helpful piano tutorials on my YouTube channel, Hilary Burt Music, where you'll find scale practice videos and more. My goal is to make piano lessons something to look forward to each week right here in Findon Valley near Worthing!
Adult learners
I have taught many adult piano learners and would love to accompany you on your musical journey. I have battled with self esteem and self confidence issues around music and understand the anguish of wanting desperately to try something but not quite having the guts to go through with it.
